Wild Beasts - Bed Of Nails (Official Video)

I feel like I got caught in a erotic relationship with a random person every time I play his song. It even feels like you are lost in London, yes you heard it right. Wild Beasts - "Bed Of Nails" from 'Smother' released 2011. I don't believe it gained much attraction but his bisexual looking fashion and very sexy vocals. It almost feels like you're in a dangerous relationship when he is singing about "our bodies". Bed of nails would do it for me as long as it is located in somewhere around Greenwich where it is mostly green and gloomy.

Talk Talk - Such A Shame (80s music)

You don't really see that I share a lot of 80s on this blog. I am always so confused by the era, not really implying it's pretentious and super campness. However, I find it more repetatitive and very attention seeking. It's like the bandwagon culture right? Remember everyone tried to play an instrument or trying to get into a band. Yeah I find the era simply a shame, although it can be very playful and camp. Every singer looks like they are on some serious drug abuse, not a maybe bad thing for the sound but also tunes are very romantic, chaotic and even psychedelic. In this beautiful Mark Hollis vocal-gasm and Talk Talk synthesizer orgy, we just simple question ourselves in a dramatic way, even though the tune is very fun. So yeah, a chaos but still a delightful one. Gotta be one of those songs should be in your Sunday morning syndrome playlist with a plenty of coffee!

IAMX ft. Imogen Heap - 'My Secret Friend'

IAMX is one of those amazing creations by Chris Corner and it has been going around for a while now. His music is so unique and always takes you to a journey, a haunting one. His works are so impactful and his style kept evolving during the years.

This could be one of his most polished and interesting songs, Imogen adds that very nice female vocals and trapped feeling to the song. Chris' gentle cries and melodically sweet vocals are always on point. This could be my go to song whenever I feel trapped by this monotonous world with full of leeches and sometimes you want to swim forever under the water and stay there.

I usually share not very up-to-date music, so you can discover these gems as I think music is timeless. You can always check their latest works if you want to.

Rufus Wainwright - Going To A Town

It is one of those posts that could go anywhere with this song. I mean it is slighty heartbreaking when you play this song so many times and think to yourself. Why is this so underrated. I guess songs are what they are. You cannot expect them to reach everyone but those couple of people matter. The message is taken. Going to a Town !

Suede - Obsessions

 Flashback Playlist

I enter to this high street shop and it starts playing. No it is not actually "Obsessions" that is playing. It was some other song from another forgotten Suede album. However that person makes the playlist for the shop, he probably knows his stuff. I mean c'mon whoever listens to Suede, he definitely is fashionable when it comes to his music taste. Suede gives me glamour, grubby London streets, style and sometimes obsessions. You get so obsessed and you come back to playing their songs.

I feel like in a way my words get lost but still manage to live with the songs on this page.

Sade - No Ordinary Love

Sade is one those hypnotic singer, I even think she has special powers, once listened to it. You will be a fan forever. "No Ordinary Love" is her in my view the most amazing records from Love Deluxe album. Opening strong ballad with crazy guitar riffs in some parts, detached from her previous jazzy style, even though Sade's hypnotizing soul is always there. I just want to be left alone when this song plays. This is not ordinary music and not an ordinary love. When she sings I keep crying, I keep trying for you, you are only left heartbroken. Any love song fans should have this song in their playlist.

David Sylvian - Ride

This is not a new song review, nor hungry for views-click kinda post. I always thought David Sylvian's music was very pretentious. I'm still wondering if it or not. Nevertheless, you keep listening to them once you put your guard down. I mean sad songs cringe me sometimes but still cannot escape the fact that it's a part of our lives. I do not like to discriminate songs normally saying this is their best. "Ride" is one of those very subtle pop songs that will truly take you on a ride. His voice never sounds this beautiful. The song is truly one of his bests.

Scott Walker - Farmer In The City

You remember the guy who made something completely different from pop music but still somehow pop music. His dark, depressing world wouldn't fit in with what expected from a singer. I know songs about love is kinda very boring. Yes I'm talking about Scott Walker. A masterpiece in its' own field. And there are things you cannot compare sometimes. It tells a story whether you understand it or not. Music as we know can be interpreted in so many different ways. You don't even need to understand the lyrics most of the time. It still has the same impact.

Absolutely mind-blowing vocals of Farmer in the City makes me want more everytime I listen to it. I just feel cold and curious, what comes next. I dare you popular music zombies, you should maybe try this one. I can assure nothing gonna be the same again.

I mean Scott Walker is one of those artist always there for me every time I feel a bit weird. It is not a bad thing specially those weird thoughts make you question about things around you. Never disappoints.

IAMX - "Insomnia"

Don't we all have this problem these days? My perfect go to song on a winter day. I also think the album is one of Chris Corner's best creation. Love it! The song was also used in How to Get Away With Murder TV series.

Music is still inspiring! However more self obsessed just like selfies.

I love how so many of you still check my articles. When I wrote my reviews and articles, I was in such an inspired era. I feel like not even willing to write these days. However my creative mindset never stops working. I draw some, read some and maybe go through my thoughts just like any of us.

Music is lately transferred to a complete self-obsessed kinda fashion. Mostly unmeaningful lyrics, self-obsessed artists just like social media websites instagram.

I always appreciate inspiring music such as IAMX, those songs Happiness, mercy and Bernadette are always on my playlist.

As you might know, I currently live in London. It would be so lovely to join some press events but I wasn't feeling any of it lately. This might a new comeback so I have a lot of projects coming up for the music blog. I always appreciate many different kind of styles even some very popular artists like Dua Lipa, kinda really enjoy her mixture of dream pop and synth pop kinda Be The One.

Indie music still has a big part in my life. Once they make it really big, I kinda lose my interest in their music. Isn't that really weird? We need to let the children know how many great artists around us rather than Simon Cowell sort of mechanical all-the-same fast food kinda music. I am such a big fan of experimental artist. Really need to mention Tortoise's Monica is on my playlist regularly.

We don't always feel our best. Whoever tells you that they are positive 24 hours a day, that is a lie. Life is full of ups and downs, it is best to enjoy it.

Hello everyone! I've been really busy lately and couldn't write on this blog for years. However, I still love music and I couldn't keep up with the latests great songs or the bands. I love the latest Suede album and the songs from the album. Wastelands, Life is Golden, Don't be afraid If Nobody Loves You are great tracks.

Don't be afraid If Nobody Loves you

Turin Brakes - Long Distance

I know this is a very random relatively old song from my playlist. To be quite honest, it is very saddening that it only has around 190k views on youtube. I find it brilliant. Turin Brakes is amazing.

BEACH HOUSE - "MYTH" (OFFICIAL TRACK)

Oh Beach House is one those things will never get old. This song can sound very depressing at first but It grows on you more and more each time. Very strong opening track of the album. So dreamy and captivating.

Linkin Park Announce New Album 'One More Light' & Premiere New Single "Heavy"

Linkin Park invited fans everywhere into the heart of their Hollywood rehearsal space as they performed the signature smash "Crawling" followed by the first-ever performance of "Heavy" accompanied by alternative pop songstress Kiiara. I'm usually open minded about bands experimenting with different stuff but this was quiet like one of those garbage pop songs playing on the radio.

Nico - These Days

It was first recorded by Nico in 1967 for her album Chelsea Girl. Browne and singer-songwriter Gregg Allman later recorded their own versions in 1973, with Browne crediting Allman for its arrangement. "These Days" has also been recorded by Paul Westerberg, St. Vincent, Fountains of Wayne, and Drake (musician), among others.
