Manic Street Preachers - (It's Not War) Just The End Of Love

I did not have time to write about the new song of Manics. It is not war, just the end of love. I love their songs that they always give people good message. Since The Holy Bible as the best album ever they made, it is very happy to see they still going on the way they believe.

Alexandra Burke - "Start Without You"

Alexandra Burke as the winner of the fifth season of The X-Factor, releases her happy-dance hit which peaks to number 1 at official Uk charts. The song produced by Red One and features guest vocals from Jamaican rapper Laza Morgan. In my opinion, it feautures a lot gay guys in the video below, and more can bee seen at official Alexandra Burke website. It's been an entertaining pop songs combines a lot of different dance-pop elements.

Bedroom Playlist Songs for Adults

The song comes from Momus’ Tender Pervert (1998) record that is covered with intelligent lyrics, political views in a funny way of telling.

From The Valley To The Stars is very nice poppy, outstanding cut from successful Swedish artist. “Somebody’s baby” reminds me relationships which you are taken for granted.

At the first drum roll we undress
At the second drum roll we get into bed
To ensure order and silence
Silence always makes me scream

Anita Lane’s quite mature lyrics somehow help you to learn about regretful sex experience you had with someone who fucked and throw you after a while. Love has been a cliché in lyrics, but however, Lane’s lyrics are worth to listen on her Sex O' Clock (2001) record.

You had big tits and every boy in school wanted to fuck you
You told me stories about what these boys could do
"they rip off your clothes, all they wanna do is screw"
Cans of hairspray piled up like skyscrapers

We had a sweet interview with her recently, can be found here.

I like and support young bands, but I still in much love with old records like anything from Tim Buckley, Joni Mitchell, Cocteau Twins… Leonard’s demanding lyrics with Famous Blue Raincoat may hit anybody at first stream. I can tell that this is the best song written about cheating.

An Interview with Jenny Wilson

Jenny Wilson is a Swedish singer-songwriter whose latest record Hardships! is on my playlist recently. From folk, disco, and R&B, she's released two albums, 2005's Love and Youth and 2009's Hardships! She now works on her new record which is a secret for now.

Interview by Modern Music: 2 September 2010 themodernmusic.com

First of all, thanks for your amazing record “Hardships!” and combining large variety elements in your music R&B to rock, soul to electronic. Honestly I have listened to your album over and over again, however it was the first time I saw your colourful video of “Fading Like A Rainbow” that was the begining for me loving your music. How have you made your look so influential, your costumes always match very well with your idiosyncratic music?

Every part makes sense, and helps to reach the very core of my music! I have always been very involved in everything that comes with the music - the costumes, the pictures, the videos, the covers, the light we use on stage etc etc.

I work with a Swedish artist, Pia Sandström, and she's been designing almost all of the costumes I've used for the passed five years. We have a wonderful and creative process in her studio, where we drink a lot of black coffee and talk about small things and big things meanwhile I stand with weird cretions draped on my body!

I know you spent your whole time with the family after “Love and Youth”. Some musicians release too many records, that you almost can’t always follow them. Do you think musicians should have a break sometimes to create something sharper or fresher?

For me it's important to live that other life, the life that is far from the one one you live in the studio or in a tour bus! I find my most important inspirations in that "other" life!

Like in your lyrics “The Wooden Chair”, “Love and Youth, “Love Ain’t Just A Four Letter Word”, you actually tell many things that most people ignore, but which are very true. What do you think about songs that can lead people to face facts that they cannot normally face in their life?

New Lloyd Cole mp3: "Double Happiness" from upcoming record

In a few days the new Lloyd Cole album "Broken Record" will be released. To celebrate this Tapete Records gives the opportunity to download one song for free - it's called "Double Happiness". After four years break since Anti Depressant, It sounds quite moody and catchy the new song, highly recommended!

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

Katy Perry first appeared as a super star on charts with her song "I Kissed A Girl". Even though the song seems to have great impression on pop music charts, her first record was not that good. After the commercial success, she comes with a second record "Teenage Dream" also same titled new single which peaks to number 2 at official UK charts. By the way, she looks very good at naked pictures which is can be seen on her cover art. As for the new single, I really don't have any idea.

The new video of Teenage Dream can be seen on official Katy Perry site.

Remy Zero reunite and comes with new song "Til The End"

I first discovered Remy Zero by a song titled as "Gramarye" on their Villa Elaine album.

Remy Zero will be reunite for four select dates in October to honor the memory of the band’s drummer Gregory Slay, who passed away on New Year’s Day of complications from Cystic Fibrosis. The new song "'Til The End" is a new shimmering tune and the singer sounds quite ambitious here, with a promising new modern rock song, they make a good return.

Oct 08 - Seattle, WA @ Crocodile Cafe
