I'm very surprised to hear Ryan Adams released a metal concept album. It doesn't sound bad though.
"Bang Goes the Knighthood" is the tenth studio album by The Divine Comedy. They release records since 1993, starting their career with a strong debut "Liberation", and somehow they are very underrated band. It seems the songs in this new album of The Divine Comedy is quite difficult to grow in your head if you used to listen crap pop music all the time! It's The Divine Comedy, and you should not expect something ineffective.
Goodies are very trend right now. Bands share their songs on their websites. The Magic Numbers make it the new single "The Pulse" available to download if you sign up their mailing list. I'm not sure if it worthes for the heartbreaking lovesick tune. I personally love their self-titled debut "The Magic Numbers" as best so far, and I can like to hear "The Runaway" .

Antony and the Johnsons will release their new album, “Swanlights”, on October 4th in Europe and the UK via Rough Trade, and October 5th in the US via Secretly Canadian. Abrams Image will simultaneously release a special edition of “Swanlights” which will include the CD inside a 144 page art book containing Antony’s paintings, collages, photography and writing.

Wow! Spandau Ballet, Visage, Ultravox... All great new romantic bands from 80s, and Sophie Ellis Bextor's "Bittersweet" recalls these great tunes. Everybody loves 80s, so you do love this song. "Bittersweet" sounds quite same with Visage's "Fade to Grey". Rating: 7/10
Heart-Ships is a very new band from Leeds UK , made up of 7 passionate musicians and songwriters, they've been playing together for under a year and have just started gigging and recording. They reminded me Sunset Rubdown a bit, but I only say that to give you an idea about what a crazy music they play! This abstract artwork needs a little more work (well it looks quite creepy), I loved Heart-Ships' brand new song though.
James Murphy is so gay, look at his myspace page on the left "sounds like" corner. You see its written "gay stuff". Oh James must be gay too, look at his shirt which I bought to him. Matthew Houck's one-man-band Phosphorescent looks quite confident as you can see in the cover. However it's not the original artwork of new album "Here's to Taking It Easy", I worked on photoshop a little. Anyway, I have to say his new record sounds quite good.
