Radiohead - Lotus Flower

The first impression is not always about the music. I'm losing my focus all the time when I am listening to Radiohead's songs, as they have such indescriptive melody, however Tom Yorke's high-tone voice settles you down in Lotus Flower even if some say he sounds like a travesty.

Being one of the best bands also causes obstacles in creating something worthwhile for their next step in the music business. They continue to mesmerize their fans, however 'Lotus Flower' is just another Radiohead song. I'm sorry but I just can't catch the right tune in it, because it sounds more like 'Massive Attack', certainly something other than Radiohead.

I believe that "The King Of Limbs" is more likely going to be another album like "In Rainbows" which didn't get a lot of attention. Tom Yorke, I'm sorry but you look like a cracker in this one:

    The Dears - Degeneration Street

The fifth studio album Degeneration Street comes with some modern rock hooks, a little bit usual melodramic sound of them, but it also the most alive and accessible The Dears album. Songs like 'Omega Dog', '5 Chords' and 'Blood' get your attention at first listen, however I would still prefer the songs like '22: The Death Of All The Romance' from one of the best records "No Cities Left" and its wonderful video telling a love story of teddy bears.

Today I thought the new songs are horrible at the moment. A skeleton guy comes and sings repeatitive 'Black and Yellow, black and yellow'. What an awful song! But you can easily say it is on the number five. I don't want to be offensive to any form of music, but who likes this song? Is it for real? Don't you ever get headaches when you listen to these music?

Death Cab for Cutie Unveil New Album Cover + Tracklist

“Codes And Keys” marks the first all-new DCFC release since 2009, which saw the release of the single, “Meet Me On The Equinox” (featured on Chop Shop/Atlantic’s “The Twilight Saga: New Moon – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”) as well as “The Open Door” EP, which later earned the band their third consecutive Grammy Award nomination for “Best Alternative Album.” That collection came hot on the heels of the RIAA gold-certified “Narrow Stairs,” which made a stunning debut atop the Billboard 200 upon its May 2008 release. Two Grammy nods followed the album’s release, including “Best Alternative Album” and “Best Rock Song,” for the hit single, “I Will Possess Your Heart.”

Death Cab for Cutie made their Atlantic Records debut in 2005 with their fifth studio release, “Plans.” The album proved the critically celebrated band’s commercial breakthrough, earning RIAA platinum-certification as well as spawning two gold-certified singles in “Soul Meets Body” and “I Will Follow You Into The Dark.” The latter track was honored with a Grammy nomination as “Best Pop Performance By Duo Or Group With Vocals,” with “Plans” receiving the nod as “Best Alternative Album.” As if that weren’t enough, in 2006 DCFC released a dvd companion volume to “Plans” entitled “Directions,” which itself earned a Grammy Award nomination as “Best Longform Music Video.”

Death Cab for Cutie is: Ben Gibbard: guitars, keyboards, vocals * Chris Walla: guitars, keyboards * Nick Harmer: bass * Jason McGerr: drums.

The Mountain Goats: All Eternals Deck

    Darnielle’s words:

If you have ever watched say a 70s occult-scare movie where one of the scenes involves a few people visiting a storefront fortune teller, getting their cards read, and then trying to feel super-hopeful about their predicted outcome when what they’re visibly actually feeling is dread, then you have a pretty decent idea of what the album is all about.” He elaborates, “Other possible points of reference include ‘Burnt Offerings,’ ‘Go Ask Alice,’ and that one scene in The Warriors where they’re on the train and the sun’s coming up and they’re safe but you know the scars are permanent now.

Love Like Blood by Killing Joke - Truly Classic

    MM Classics
The weather is always cloudy in London. And I sometimes like to jump from out of my window and run to nowhere. So I decided to share the music for those who feel the same. It's been a quite while since I last wrote to the MM classics section. The day is today to reveal my music of pandora's box. This song is officially included Killing Joke's "Night Time" album if you want to search for it. This band is quite weird because they were quasi-metal ban, then their music had turned to an alternative, dance even dance-rock music. Later on, however, they turned to the metal music band again that I never got those music or the concept.

"Love Like Blood" is a kind of song calling to a tune of doom and gloom which you can tell from its melody easily. It's so essential!
