This is not a new song review, nor hungry for views-click kinda post. I always thought David Sylvian's music was very pretentious. I'm still wondering if it or not. Nevertheless, you keep listening to them once you put your guard down. I mean sad songs cringe me sometimes but still cannot escape the fact that it's a part of our lives. I do not like to discriminate songs normally saying this is their best. "Ride" is one of those very subtle pop songs that will truly take you on a ride. His voice never sounds this beautiful. The song is truly one of his bests.

An easier affair, living my life... Lost so many good talents lately, Bowie, Prince, Leonard Cohen and George Michael now. Hope you enjoy this track, I mean of course there are so many great songs by him. However, This is one of my favorite George Michael songs, and there is also Amazing.

Not because I dislike Christmas songs, it drawn my attention to different songs after hearing Abba's 'Chiquita' on the tv, top of the pops chrismas show. Kind of strange feeling. There are all of these extremely talented names like Shirley Bassey, Abba or maybe Paul McCartney. I somehow happy with my 'We've Been Had' by The Walkmen.

Not one of those, songs related to Christmas, but this song is Christmas for me, why not?

A lot of people have been waiting for a long time for this disc, while punk’s self-styled enfant terrible played cat-and-mouse with a music industry she openly regards with contempt and disdain. Siouxsie’s got a point. The record companies who decide what you’re going to be able to buy are often reactionary and staid and can be accused of manipulating the populace. But
then she isn’t entirely blameless on that last count herself. If you really think The Banshees spent the past year in a contractless limbo because their music was too near the edge, then you
must spend a lot of your time going round walking into walls. The Banshees have fans, lots of them, and no record company worth its salt would pass up the chance to sell them records.
And what about releasing a record themselves? Don’t they know the old mass access argument hardly applies any more? But here it is, a brash, delirious two-chord triumph that I would never have thought them capable of, being not in the least enamoured of their facile attempts at creating radical music. ‘Hong Kong Garden’, a longtime stage favourite, is a bright, vivid narrative, something like snapshots from the window of a speeding Japanese train, powercharged by the most original, intoxicating guitar playing I’ve heard in a long, long time.
Would you believe it’s going to be played on the radio? Would you believe Siouxsie on Top Of The Pops? Would you believe not one mention of Blondie… oops.

Once in a time, there was a record which lights my way. Maybe it was dying because its overdosed lyrics. However, it was a record truly very similar to a high class love story, fake, cruel and hopeless.

Now we're back to past...They'd done everything could be done in rock music. Some kind of crazy period it was or was it totally fascinating? Now that part is very important for me. I believe that rock n' roll is totally fascinating term. Yeah, we're entirely covered by indie rock bands now, and i love this variation. But you should know the history to survive, am i right? Ah!, and also if the tragical deaths didn't exist in rock n' roll history, it would be perfect! Bob Dylan, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones aren't included in the list. A good list should show something to people that have something in different taste not in common, and it shouldn't has a purpose to flatter, that's all opinions.

I was reading Mojo's 2006 September release, and the cover was..., Syd Barett. Death is one of the most factual condition for people. But life is one of the most colorful motion, that's for sure. In music which artist was the most colorful and psychedelic one, sweeping your time with his color color colorful guitars, cheerful lyrics which needs to be discovered??? Again, answer is Syd Barett.

Elton John: 'Obviously , Syd's death is very very sad. To me he was rock's first true casualty. Because of that he'll be one of those people like Nick Drake and Marc Bolan whose legend will live on forever.'

Paul Weller: 'He shone so bright for such a short space of time, everyone's vision of him is still trapped in that time, we only think of Syd as he was on the sleeve of the first album. All i know is that he's very important to me.'

Robyn Hitchcock: 'I think there was a power struggle between Syd and Roger - I don't mean Roger Waters, I mean Roger Barett, and that Roger Barett won. I haven't came across someone who doesn't like Cranberries' music. Forget about their famous career and suppose that this is first release, they're a brand new band. Ah, how pure musical travel it is, how perfect listening a Elegant female voice Dolores O'Riordan has. And yes it's not posible to release such an album again. Still, as if it's a brand new record. And some truth of life lies in Berries' lyrics -- Oh my life is changing everyday Every possible way -- The life changing melody of Cranberries is here, it's in this album. It's "Sunday", you can feel violin's cry in your body, moreover bass guitars call something from past memories.

I know i haven't posted many female artists, but i haven't came across any impressive rock female artist in the year or you should let me know if i miss anything. Yesterday i read good news at Official Elizabeth Frazer that Liz's solo album due spring 2007. I started to play immediately my Cocteau Twins songs, and i got deeper with the god of voice.

Cocteau Twins were founded in Grangemouth, Scotland, in 1979. Taking their name from an obscure song from fellow Scots Simple Minds, the Cocteaus were originally formed by guitarist Robin Guthrie and bassist Will Heggie and later rounded out by Guthrie's girlfriend Elizabeth Fraser, an utterly unique performer whose swooping, operatic vocals relied less on any recognizable language than on the subjective sounds and textures of verbalized emotions.

As a favorite of mine, "Treasure" makes my finger trembling whenever i listen this masterpiece. The name which was chosen perfecly, and also it's right for its meaning, a genuine treasure. How can be a voice like this? Beatrix is the most magical, deep work of the record. The other one is Amelia. This two song explains why you should spend your hours on listening music! Cocteau Twins are a plain example of perfect sound composing. I can't explain the songs, why these are so beautiful? Music expresses that which cannot be said...“Until I don't know where you end and I begin”

After doing some artwork at the request of Billy Idol, the poseur’s apprentice ran into a spot of bother. He joined a band called The Moors Murderers, an event which he now – sitting in the spacious Chelsea basement of Visage’s publicist – bitterly regrets.“I was singing the songs and didn’t even know what they were about. I was led on by the guy with the money upfront. One day he got a load of photographers in and – bam! – it was all over the papers, I thought: ‘What the fuck have I done?’ I got out fast.”After The Moors Murderers, Steve joined The Photons. “We wore very colourful two-piece suits with Cuban heels. It was a very sharp image, but nothing to do with the ’60s thing.” Steve left: he didn’t like the bassist – as a player or a person. The Photons faded,Vince the drummer joining The Psychedelic Furs.
