New Song: Lou Barlow - "Gravitate"

Lou Barlow is a name below amazing alternative bands such as Dinosaur Jr., Sabadoh. He's a influential musician, singer and songwriter, and he released three studio albums thus far, tha albums are Lou Barlow and His Sentridoh (1995), Subsonic 6 (2000) and Emoh (2005). Lou Barlow releases his fourt solo record via Domino record at 6th October. "Gravitate" is the latest nice song from this album titled "Goodnight Unknown".

This is interesting music from start to the end, the cover looks amazing too. You should check this nice song:

what Pitchforkmedia says about the song:
Given that Goodnight Unknown, the forthcoming solo album from Lou Barlow, features a guest spot from the Melvins' Dale Crover and production from a guy who previously manned the boards for (seriously) Godsmack, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the Dinosaur Jr. bassist, Sebadoh leader, and occasional solo artist had gone full-on scuzzball metal.

"Gravitate" does have a bit of compressed distortion, but it's no tough guy move. Rather, it's pretty typical Barlow fare. Check it out below.

Goodnight Unknown is due October 6 on Merge. This fall, Barlow will open for Dinosaur Jr. on tour with the Missingmen, who previously backed up Mike Watt.

And StereoGum continues to discuss good music:
Lou describes his new LP as "a cross between my later work with Folk Implosion and my earlier work with Sebadoh ... to my ears, anyway." Test out his theory by handing over an email address to get Lou B's acoustic-to-crunchy Goodnight Unknown lead "Gravitate." Decent trade considering how many years he's been handing over his heart. It's yours at Domino UK.
