A Chicago based indie electronic ( with their Tropical / Industrial / Minimalist sound ) band which I liked at first listen, releases Kontpab. It basically warns the human race of the mass "funneling" of the populace minds into The Grid. Their sound is as same as any indie electronic bands that only think beats beats and some interesting noises on and on. However there are the songs which you can't ignore at here. Second track "Problems" makes strong my belief in Mahjongg. Totally electronic and with its similarity to 8-bit video game sounds, Tell the Police the Truth becomes another great found on this record. Despite its full of adventure-loving and interesting sound, Kontpab doesn't provide something fairly evergreen.Mahjongg - Pontiac
