Nice to discover English indie pop quartet the xx, in debut album they covers Womack & Womack's "Teardrops", Aaliyah's "Hot Like Fire" and Kyla's "Do You Mind".
I'd like to note the influences which they told us on their myspace:
Aaliyah to CocoRosie, Rihanna to The Cure, Missy Elliott to Chromatics, The Kills to Ginuwine, Pixies to Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake to Tracy... sounds interesting huh?
The xx released their debut LP in July of that year in the U.K.; it was released in the U.S. the following month. If you like to listen Kyla's "Do You Mind":
