Let The Music Play is a nice song from Jordin Sparks' most recent Battlefield record. Think of it's a polished version of any Rihanna song, like remix of Rihanna's song. However Jordin Sparks sing well, her sweet voice makes you listen all the songs in Battlefield. S.O.S. [Let The Music Play] is one of the key tracks in the album for sure.

Nice to discover English indie pop quartet the xx, in debut album they covers Womack & Womack's "Teardrops", Aaliyah's "Hot Like Fire" and Kyla's "Do You Mind".

I'd like to note the influences which they told us on their myspace:
Aaliyah to CocoRosie, Rihanna to The Cure, Missy Elliott to Chromatics, The Kills to Ginuwine, Pixies to Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake to Tracy... sounds interesting huh?

"I Became A Prostitute" follows the line all of my lovers My Bloody Valentines' Loveless maybe the song "Sometimes" and another classic anthem by Cocteau Twins' "Heaven Or Las Vegas", vocal reminds you Joy Division's romantic Ian Curtis all over. I feel myself happy, when i notice the power comes from these names.

This song is maybe the most amazing, brooding song of The Twilight Sad. It's the recent single from their "Forget the Night Adead" new record. It's so emotional and romantic song. Passion, passion and passion. 8/10

In a press release, it's been said about the new album "hopefully make you fall in love with the person sitting next to you on the bus."

However it's been a nice album Sally Shapiro. This italo-disco thing made me fall in love with their previous "Disco Romance" and "My Guilty Pleasure" is a nice following record.

Bay Of Pigs surprises you and it simply grows on you. Destroyer's previous works such as Printer In Your Pocket, Your Blood or Foam Hands were great. This is 13 min length dream song and more peaceful one, starting slowly then changes to a fresh Destroyer song. Better check this out yourself:

Beyonce is one of the greatest pop hereos in 10 years. I can still listen and enjoy her very amazing song "Crazy In Love". Her debut "Dangerously in Love" is strong pop record which hard to find these days. However, i'm afraid to say, following this amazing debut, Beyonce released only some singles to make up to charts. "Sweet Dreams" is one of these unimpassioned songs, i've been listening "Naughty Girl", and you know the difference. 4/10

Scarlett Johansson and Peter Yorn unites to sing one of my favorite songs "I Am the Cosmos" (Chris Bell co-founder of Big Star) which is covered by several artists before. This version sounds very interesting, i think Scarlett Johansson is great at singing her favorite songs, and no need to mention her success on movies. "Ghost World" was the first movie that i fell in love with her smiles. Her debut 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' was a good start to cover Tom Waits. Then she covered Jeff Buckley and The Cure. I'm waiting some Nico and Cocteau Twins covers from her. Now, she is mesmerising us with her voice.

'Äppelknyckarjazz', the album by Swedish band Movits! went from unknown to sensation after Stephen Colbert featured the band on his show on July 27th. The songs are a wild combination of jazz, big band, swing and hip-hop, and they're all sung in rapid-fire Swedish. They may have been shoved into popularity by a Colbert-fueled craze but they seem to genuinely speak to urban Swedish culture and one need only to look up the lyrics for 'Fel del av gården' to see they have a real message to met out. Their uniqueness alone makes them worth hearing!

I've recently discovered Frank Turner via Billboard review. It's a truly impressive and melodic album. First single "Reasons Not To Be An Idiot" is a good start to love this album.

Every tune is memorable on "Love Ire & Song," from lyrical and melodic hooks to Turner's passionate tenor. And it's not difficult to imagine a huge crowd singing along with the artist. Note the strategic omission of commas in the punning title, then say it aloud: Love our song. Get it? --Fred Mills /Billboard 81/100

Humbug is the upcoming third great album by the British alternative rock band Arctic Monkeys. I loved all the songs of "Humbug". Mesmerising "Secret Door", the first single "Crying Lightning" and great opener "My Propeller", powerful rock song "Potion Approaching". This album is one of the best records that i've listened this year.
