10,000 Maniacs

10,000 Maniacs is a U.S. Jangle pop band, formed in 1981 and active with various line-ups since that time. The most well-known member has been Natalie Me rchant, who left the band in 1993 to pursue a solo career.

Without John Lombardo, who was Natalie Merchant's partner on writing the songs of the other albums and left the band in 1986, Natalie started new partnerships in writing songs with the other members of the band, the one with Robert Buck being the most constant and prolific.
