Wow! Listen up Sonic Youth and Thurston Moore fans, i'm loving Trees Outside The Academy,
his first solo album since 1995 in September. Get ready for amazing guitar and violin combinations. In addition, Sonic Youth's Rather Ripped mixer John Agnello came aboard for the 12-track affair, which also features collaborations with Mascis and Charalambides' Christina Carter, who duets with Moore on "Honest James." Andrew Macgregor and noise rocker Leslie Keffer also perform on Trees Outside the Academy. This is mostly an acoustic and lyrically driven work, you'll hear nice guitar solos and instrumental noisy music from time to time, but it really is a distinctive record. I love luxury music.

This record reminds you beautiful view of sundown. The most people i know love sundown, because of that romantic air, orange sky, peaceful atmosphere. Not only orange sky theme makes I Could Live in Hope a great record, it's also fulfilled with stunning songwriting, magical guitar passages. It's is perfect for rainy days, sundays, late night, moreover it's one of that records that i want to mention about it to my best friends. Quite simply, no category can truly reveal the beauty and glory of Low's debut record I Could Live in Hope. You've got to let it go, you've got to listen to this angelic vocals by Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker.

Super Furry Animals were one of the first post-alternative bands, fusing together a number of disparate musical genres, but, i don't understand why they are trying to hide the best songs on new records. Why "Show Your Hand" should be first single, it's a boring one when there are other standout songs to make strong return! Despite its radio-friendly, repetitive lyrics, it's not a terrible single. Hey Venus! will make it good, as you know Super Furry Animals don't have any bad records, pretty songs again shine through the whole record. Hey Venus! may seem too simple upon first listen but it seems better and deeper with each spin.

The eleven-track disc, out August 27 on Rough Trade, will be trotted out with a single for the track “Show Your Hand” arriving August 13.

With bizarre sense of humor, borrowing from the New York post-punk underground, maybe They Might Be Giants (a.k.a. John Linnell and John Flansburgh) don't invent something new in music, but, God knows that you once listen to their whole albums you won't forget their sweet music. On The Else, they're same !Giants! who play their nice music, and they're always one of the sweetest bands that i've ever listened. This record offers something very friendly like Ween, Weezer, Robyn Hitchcock or any name makes you confused with their melodies and lyrics. Yes!, friendly music reminds you that life is not easy and it's still good to live. Love The Else!

After 6 years of silence, Kula Shaker returns with Strangefolk' consists of 13 new songs. When someone says Kula Shaker, you remember their well-known hit 'Tattva' and nice debut "K" (1997), but their brilliant live performances are other goods why they're one of Britain's most exciting bands. As for the Strangefolk, it sounds as something forced, you know, you can't stand aged bands' returnings. "Die For Love" is a great rock ballad and despite clear The Beatles influence, "Fool That I Am" is their best new song in my view. However, the returning albums are not always memorable. They're returning and the record is forgettable, ironic hah?

This version of Life on Mars? is absolutely worth a listen - gloomy piano melodies , Bowie's one of a kind vocal performance - Arcade Fire and David Bowie, they are both great artists. These songs are from a live performance from Radio City Music Hall, during a taping for the Fashion Rocks TV Special back in September of this year. There is no electronic remixing, no mash-ups, and no updates to these two classics and one future classic.
