Best Albums of 90s Modern Rock

Do not mind anything that anyone tells you about modern rock and what is not modern rock. It just starts with late 1970s punk (some thinks INXS, The Cure, Morrissey, Depeche Mode, and Erasure as modern rock artists during the 1980s), and modern rock is all about to leave classic rock on your back... I'm not sure that these are all modern rock. Anyway, these albums are damn fucking great!

1. Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
2. Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual

3. Appleseed cast - End of the Ring Wars
4. Faith No More - Angel Dust
5. Bob Mould - WorkBook
6. Melvins - Houdini
7. R.E.M. - Automatic for the People
8. The Replacements - Tim

9. Nirvana - Nevermind
10. Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
11. Pixies - Doolittle
12. Pavement - Slanted & Enchanted
13. PJ Harvey - Dry
14. The Afghan Whigs - Gentlemen
15. Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary
16. Husker Du - New Day Rising
17. Alice in Chains - Dirt
18. Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
19. The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
20. Dave Matthews Band - Under the Table and Dreaming

I like the list but Daydream Nation was released in '88, at least according to the Blast First vinyl copy I have.
