Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer ?

Rating: 8.5/10
Modern Music Review
Indie Rock
Of Montreal creates pleased indie rock music on their new strong record "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?", knowing that this makes unpleased fans after powerful effort "Sunlandic Twins" or extra alternative "The Gay Parade".

You'll learn to be happy with the new Of Montreal, it's filled with a love of life. Every scene of the life could match the melodies in "Hissing Fauna...". It serves the good things and the bad things
in same plate but it's mixed into the wise pop melodies. Happy vocals drive to prolific indie and alternative rock scene, thin voices ride into depressive disco melodies. "Gronlandic Edit" is the most perfect and simple disco oriented indie rock melody, despite its exhausting queer singing style, it holds your hand and shows where dance-floor is located.

Fantasizing tunes like "A Sentence Of Sorts In Kongsvinger" makes you think about a supermarket where Of Montreal's new record is playing, and you're running and running to fill basket with enjoyable goods. At the same time some songs are a bit superfluous, making exhausted experience on listener. However, again cuts like Faberge Fails For Shuggle, Labyrinthian Pomp only exist in Of Montreal's plentiful music. It's good to listening this record while jogging or teasing to your neighbour, specially the old uncle!

Who wants to listen an ultra varied, ultra lovely record? If you feel so, touch delicate "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?" with your fingers. Here's the choice which makes you listen more as time goes on.
Listen the whole record!
MM picks: Suffer For Fashion, Gronlandic Edit, Faberge Fails For Shuggle, She's A Rejector
mp3: Of Montreal - Heimdalsgate Like A Promethean Curse
