Battles is a quartet comprised of drummer John Stanier of Helmet and Tomahawk, guitarist/keyboardist Ian Williams of Don Caballero and Storm & Stress, guitarist David Konopka of Lynx, and avant solo musician Tyondai Braxton. Twentysixfeet ,who is a quintet of all live in north London, primarily want to make noise/music that sounds quite powerful.
And also two great records get my attention on this week, they're Mirrored by Battles and The Fragile Army by The Polyphonic Spree.
